The Inkwell Writing Workshop is the perfect place for young writers entering grades 6-9 to explore their creativity and develop their writing skills in a supportive, engaging environment. During the workshop, students will deepen their understanding of creative writing by exploring advanced techniques in storytelling, character development, world-building, and narrative structure. They will experiment with a variety of genres, including fantasy, science fiction, realistic fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Students will receive thoughtful, detailed feedback from our experienced instructors and engage in peer review workshops to strengthen their revision skills. They will also participate in fun group activities, such as writing challenges and friendly competitions. At the end of the workshop, students will have completed several polished pieces of writing that reflect their creative growth. Best of all, this workshop is completely free!*
